You say....What is the Rajuncajun Crawfish Festival ? Folks, for those of you that have never attended the Rajuncajun Crawfish Festival, you are in for one Bayou-Blast-Foot-Stompin-Good Time. We will transport you to the Bayou's of Louisiana and share Cajun heritage, music and our award winning Louisiana cuisine. You will eat elbow to elbow with some of the nicest and fun loving people from Louisiana and east of the Mississippi River. We limit this festival to only 500 adult guest - presale tickets only, no limit on kids tickets. By popular demand this event always sells out in advance and we do not sell tickets at the gate. The reason we have this policy is to insure a quality experience by all our guests and meet the expections that you have when you arrive at our Rajuncajun Crawfish Festival. Once you have experienced the Rajuncajun Crawfish Festival, be prepared to become a fan and attending each year. Smiling is contagious at the Rajuncajun Crawfish Festival. This shows us we are doing our job. Live entertainment for a Bayou-Blast-Foot-Stompin-Good-Time by "THE PORCHDOGS". The Porchdogs Specialize in Louisiana-Style Cajun and Zydeco Music. At this year's festival they will be performing with their full 6-pc band.They also perform various other styles including bluegrass and old time fiddle music, classic rock, and Island music. They have been performing for 10 years at cajun and bluegrass festivals across the country, as well as regular appearances at Florida attractions, conventions, and theme parks. The group has appeared every year at Ft Lauderdale Cajun/ Zydeco festival, the nation's largest.
This festival which is a fund raiser for the Isle Of Pines Property Owners Association was held April 19th, 2008 at the Isle Of Pines Archie Miller Park on Lake Mary Jane across from Moss Park. This event sold out January 15, 2008 in less than 11 hours. Next years event will be April 18, 2009 with tickets going on sale January 15, 2009 at 10:00 AM.
